Becky Cholewka: Here’s a tip for you if you have a rental property. Make sure, in Arizona, that you register your rental property with whatever county that rental property is located in. That means, you’ll be able to be under the full protection of the Arizona Landlord‑Tenant laws.
If you have not registered your rental property, it could mean, for example, that you’re going to have to forfeit the security deposit back even if there were some problems in the home that you needed to take those monies from the security deposit.
For about 10 bucks here in Maricopa County, or as cheap in other counties as well, make sure that you’re taking the 10 minutes of time to go ahead and register your rental property.
