Interviewer:  Becky, what’s an uncontested divorce?

Becky Cholewka:  An uncontested divorce is when there’s a couple who knows they want to get divorced, but they want to try to do it as amicably as possible. They may just want to know what their legal rights are, or how to fill out the forms correctly, or just even how to get through the legal process without the need for a trial and testifying against each other. So, it’s really when people are just trying to work together, and we can help them do that. One of the main reasons we do that here at Cholewka Law is to make sure… People want to just go on, move their separate ways, without the added burden of not only the court costs, but the frustration of the court process as well.
