Denise is a contract attorney at Cholewka Law. Becky and Denise met on the first day of law school and spent MANY hours together in the law library. Denise loves helping individuals and families develop a plan for the future. Denise is also a Registered Nurse and Certified Life Care Planner and is used to helping others in their greatest time of need.
Denise enjoys public speaking and has presented on a variety of legal, risk, compliance, and health care related topics over the span of her career. In 2026, Denise and Becky co-authored an article in the Journal of Life Care Planning. She also has published stories in Chicken Soup for the Nurse’s Soul and in Ordinary Miracles in Nursing. Denise also volunteers for the Building Board of Appeals for the Town of Prescott Valley, where she calls home.
Denise is originally from the east coast- Long Island, New York. But she made her way across the country to California’s west coast by way of Colorado and then Arizona. She has been a resident of Arizona since 1995. She and her hubby met on Southwest Airlines (way back when you boarded by groups). They have been happily married for over 20 years, which is saying something when you get married in Las Vegas. Their granddaughters affectionately call them G-ma and G-pa.
